In
school, teachers open the door of learning to students, but it is the students’
choice to enter or pass through the door. Teachers try their best to raise us
from a level of illiteracy to the highest level of literacy. We are the next
generation of leaders.
Components
of success in education are reading, diligence, prayer and faith. There is a
popular saying that if wishes were horses, beggars would ride. You cannot wish
your way through education, hoping for the best without reading; it is not
possible.
Don’t
let the sky be your limit. Read. Soar for the stars. Rise like an eagle above
the clouds. Success is attained when you have achieved your goal. Once you
attain academic success, do not, out of pride, leave others behind. Carry them
aboard the ship through your educational journey. This helps you achieve
greater success.
Success
is not only achieving your academic goal; your greatness is determined by the
number of lives you are able to affect or touch positively.
However,
note that successful people are not admired by everyone. Not everyone will celebrate
you. Even your friends might envy you and secretly plan to bring you down, but
no worries because God has said that anyone who stands against the righteous
shall stumble and fall.
Life
is full of ups and downs; life is not a bed of roses. Life is filled with high
mountains, vast oceans, dangerous pests, hurdles, and dragons. But in all these
things, we are more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens us. So take
up the academic keys that our dedicated teachers have given to you and unlock
the door of your future. To the student who does this, what a glorious future
awaits you!
