Sweet Mother

Image result for Sweet Mother

My mother, my sweet mother
She kept me in her womb
And never lead me to my tomb
Sacrificing her tired eyes in the dark
When I grope around in this troubled ark
In times of trouble she’s there for me
In captivity she sets me free
Taught me to be who I am
At stormy sea to stay calm
Made me become a golden yellow
In the midst of more than one fellow
Told me to shine bright like the sun
When the sky does cloudy turn
Believing she gave birth to more than a child
She calls me a legend, the tamer of the wild
